The scope of alterations required can vary dramatically from one dress to another. I never recommend getting alterations made too early as there are factors which may affect the fit. As a general rule I’d suggest getting it booked in at least 10 weeks prior to your wedding day.

What to bring for a wedding dress fitting

In addition to the dress when coming for alterations bring your shoes and under garments as well. All of these will ensure the proper fit and length of your wedding dress. At your final fitting I will also provide a dressing lesson for the special person who will be dressing you on your big day.
